Epiphone

The honour as the American’s oldest and most notable instrument maker, can go to none other than Epiphone, which was established since 1873. All the way to the 90s, the company had put forward a variety of 43 models to the music industry. It is further expanded after an office in Seoul was set up, re-introducing itself to the world as an innovative guitar maker. The development of pickups, bridges, toggle switches, and fret inlays, as well as unique features like the metal E logo and frequensator tailpiece, all of which involve the hands-on-role of their own engineers. This ensures that guitars of fine quality can be consistently produced.

In year 1993, a new range acoustic and electric instrument was introduced and it had successfully invited good feedback from customers. In the same year, Rivieras and Sheratons, Excellente, Texan and Frontier flat tops were produced. The next year, Casino, Riviera, Sorrento, and Rivoli bass were re-launched. Following that in 2000, Epiphone introduced the Elitist range and strengthened its position in the acoustic market. In addition, the first factory was set up in China during the year of 2004.

The company produces guitars for every genre and it is a company that undoubtedly commits in delivering first-rated instruments. In the words of Epiphone’s President Jim Rosenberg: "Epiphone is still the House of Stathopoulo. We're designers. We're players. We're mavericks. And, we're passionate about everything we do."
