Music Keyboard

As all of us know, piano is the most commonly encountered keyboard instrument. Thus, when it comes to music keyboard, many people will usually refer the keyboard layout as the "piano keyboard". Basically, a musical keyboard is the set of adjacent depressible keys on a musical instrument, particularly the piano. With a combination of larger, longer keys and smaller, shorter keys that repeats at the interval of an octave, keyboards typically contain keys for playing the twelve notes of the Western musical scale. In order for the instrument to produce sounds, players have to depress a key on the keyboard either by mechanically striking a string or tine.

Piano

Piano is a musical instrument played by means of a keyboard. Being one of the most popular instruments in the world, its versatility and ubiquity have made it familiar among the people though it is not portable and expensive in its nature. Besides its widely usages in classical and jazz music for solo performances, ensemble use, chamber music and accompaniment, the piano is also very famous as an aid to composing and rehearsal.

Pressing a key on the piano's keyboard will result a felt-covered hammer to strike steel strings. Once the hammers rebound, they allow the strings to continue vibrating at their resonant frequency and these vibrations are diffused through a bridge to a sounding board which combines more efficiently the acoustic energy to the air. A damper stops the string's vibration when the key is released. In the musical terms "piano" and "forte" mean "quiet" and "loud". This simply refers to the illustrations that the deviation in volume of sound the instrument produces is in response to a pianist's touch on the keys. For instance, the greater a key press's velocity, the greater the force of the hammer hitting the string(s), and the louder the note produced.

Electric Piano

Acting as an electric musical instrument, sounds are mechanically by an electric piano and they are turned into electrical signals by pickups. Besides replacing a heavy and un-amplified piano on stage, many models of electric organ were designed for home or school uses. Having its unique identity from other music instruments, it is far beyond a portable and amplified piano.

Organ

Regarded as a relatively old musical instrument in the Western musical tradition, the organ is a keyboard instrument of one or more partitions, each played with its own keyboard operated either with the hands or with the feet. It then subsequently has resurfaced as an irreligious and performance instrument.
