Franz Sandner
Franz Sandner violins are made in Germany and they are of high quality hand-crafted violins, labeled with reasonable prices and ranged from beginner to master quality level instruments. It was founded by Mr. Franz Sandner, who came from Schoenbach. Being established in 1924, Franz Sandner & Sons put together decades of violin making expertise from three generations since early 1900s, with the latest manufacturing technique. Under the leadership of Mr. Richard Schuh, the second president and Mr. Dietmar Schuh, the president following the former in year 1946 and 1979 respectively, Sandner became well-known internationally due to its production innovation. It has also been doing good in countries including USA, Europe, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea and the list goes on, both in manufacturing technology as well as market sales. Sandner and Taiwan Dynasty formed a joint venture, named Sandner Dynasty Co. Ltd. and this had led to the transfer of manufacturing technology from Germany to Taiwan and from Taiwan to Mainland China. These three bases customize the supply to different customer demands. The rapid expansion of Sandner is obvious when its series are distributed to more than 30 countries since the year 2003. It then takes up the name of “number-one-brand” among string instrument brands in Germany in twenty first century.
