Born in 27 October, 1978 in Singapore, Vanessa moved to London with her family when she was four and started her classical violin studies at the age of five. In 1988, she had her musical debut at the Schleswig-Holstein Festival and performed with London’s Philharmonia Orchestra in the United Kingdom. She was only 10 years old that time. Vanessa is well known as a crossover violinist and has fused classical music with pop successfully. Apart from getting millions of audiences’ attention worldwide, Vanessa is recognized as the youngest violinist to record the violin concertos of Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. Throughout her career journey, Vanessa has received many awards and performed in various events globally.
