The founder of Pramberger Piano Ltd., Johann Joseph Pramberger, established this company in 1987, together with his father Anton, whom had worked in close proximity with him in rebuilding pianos. Anton, a Master Artisan since his young age, holds on to the principle that is being passed down to the family hierarchy, which is to “meticulously observe only the best work of others, and absorb every possible detail and nuance of their craft.” After migrating to United States from Europe in 1950, he worked as a pattern maker for fine pianos in Steinway piano factory in Astoria, New York for 25 years since then. At the same time, Joseph Pramberger moved to America with his father as well. Counting from year 1958 where he first took up the post as Design and Project Engineer in Steinway & Sons®, he used up 29 years in honing his skills and became the Chairman of the International Technical Exchange Group. The formation of his own company was followed by then.

Pianos designed by Pramberger are never pertaining to costs, but on quality of performance. In accordance to that, Joseph acquired mechanical engineering skills in New York University. Besides, he also traveled to several countries such as Europe, Japan and Korea to seek advice from key suppliers, so as to realize perfection in design. Joseph believes that a piano design will never have an ending. Thus, creating a high-rated piano marks the process of design evolution. Weber

Weber Piano was born on 8th July 1828, in Bavaria province of Germany. Being known as a perfectionist and piano prodigy, Albert Weber, the founder of Weber Piano, was not satisfied with the available pianos back then. Thus, he moved to New York in year 1844 and learnt from D.J. Van Winkle and Charles Holder, the popular piano makers in America at that time. 8 years later, the first Weber Piano store was opened in West Broadway. From year 1852 onwards, Weber Company manufactured high-rated vertical and horizontal piano that were then sold to upper class residents of Eastern United States, Royal home in Europe and the Vatican. It became a priced possession for many notable artists such as Ignacy Paderewski and Moriz Rosenthal and then signed an official brand management contract with Aeolian Co.. After that in 1987, Young Chang, a piano manufacturer which was originated from South Korea, took over Weber Piano.

Although Weber tone is not plain as compared to Young Chang piano, many see eye to eye that the cutting-edge series are representation of Young Chang platinum series and its professional artist series. Nevertheless, they are redesigned by Delwin D Frandich, a world-renowned American piano maker, which are then known as the Weber D series. Young Chang

Young Chang, a piano manufacturer headquartered in Incheon, South Korea, was established in 1956. The founders were three brothers, namely Jai-Young Kim, Jai-Chang Kim and Jai-Sup Kim. Rapid expansion of the company leads to its larger market share globally, which include 50% of the Korean piano market. Kawai
